The Truth Game

I was half asleep on the couch when my crazy-ass dog came over and dropped some heavy shit on me...

"A game based on truth is a game based on death.

The truth of it is that we will all die.

The only difference is how well we play the game, and how we choose to die."

Death and I are old friends...

Yeah, me and Death go way back. I can't recall exactly where we met, but I've been running into Death a lot lately.

A lot of folks get confused by the look. The scythe and robes are just for show. Death wears a lot of disguises.

Last time I saw him in action he walked up to some poor bastard on the sidewalk with an unlit cigarette in hand. He mimed the "can I get a light" gesture to get in close, then POW. Death's icy grip shot under the guy's ribcage, picked him up, and shook the life out of him. That poor bastard got dragged down the sidewalk, head and feet scraping the sidewalk. Death tossed him on the back of his horse and rode off.

Death loves the "bodies over the saddle" look. Death watches a lot of spaghetti westerns.

I've never seen Death use the scythe. I heard tell that Death will show up in a John Deere Combine Harvester for the big jobs. Floods, bombings, that sort of thing. Yeah, Death buys American...

'Zounds

I've been spontaneously bleeding from my middle-fingertips latelty. It's a bit awkward.

Having been raised Catholic, I'm prepared for spontaneous palm or wrist bleeding. Since it's the middle fingers, I'm not sure what message the Divine wants me to spread.

ha ha

I've been having trouble lately when people tell me how funny I am. I want to point out how subjective that statement is.

I prefer to think of myself as a baseline for funny. In that context, I'm not funny at all, just surrounded be really dull people.
